Meet Logan, an inspiring 8-year-old boy who has been courageously battling a heart condition his entire life. When I spoke with his mom, she shared his deep love for basketball and his dream of being part of a basketball team one day. Despite the limitations his condition has placed on him, Logan’s passion for the game has never slowed down. We knew we had to do something special to make his dream come true.🤫👀 Thanks to the incredible generosity of Hofstra University’s basketball team, Logan was given an unforgettable surprise experience. The team signed him to a one-day contract, welcomed him with his very own locker filled with brand-new gear, and invited him to join their practice. Logan stood proudly with the players during the national anthem, delivered the game ball to the referee, and was honored in front of the entire crowd during the game.🏀👏🏽 It was truly a day to remember, and we’re proud to say we helped Logan achieve his basketball dream!🙌🏽 We extend our heartfelt gratitude to: Grace Cergol, Hofstra Men's Basketball, and Hofstra Pride organizing this incredible surprise and making Logan feel like a true part of the team.
